The barns were originally built as the stables at Wedderburn Castle but now provide a rustic, romantic party space. The barns are set around a pretty garden courtyard and are perfect for unique weddings and events. They can be used as a unique venue, or combined with the castle on your wedding day. You can host a ceremony, drinks reception, dinner and party at the barns – or have a ceremony and drinks reception at the castle. Accommodation is available at the castle or in the nearby cottages and lodges.
Wedderburn Barns is the perfect Scottish barn wedding venue. It is also available for barn parties and corporate events. The barns consist of two principal spaces: the Cartshed for dancing, ceilidhs, DJs and bands, and the Provender Barn for dining. The atmospheric rooms are linked together and lit with wrought iron chandeliers above rustic wooden beams. Wedderburn Barns provide a flexible backdrop to personalise, creating a unique event space.
The barn wedding venue is set around a pretty courtyard and surrounded by woodland and parkland. The courtyard features an ancient apple tree, a bower with roses and large teak benches for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The barns are located in the magnificent grounds of Wedderburn Castle, a Scottish wedding venue just an hour from Edinburgh.
